Quattro and Nik are woven using a "pocket weave" technique where two separate thicknesses are interwoven together to create one finished fabric. The resultant layering of fabric gives a depth of colour that cannot be achieved with a single thickness of fabric. You can feel the two thicknesses as well as see the resultant change of colour from one side of the product to the other. The effect is likened to the layering of paint an artist uses to give depth to a painting. The subtle designs and soft restful colours of this range will sit comfortably in the most modern of rooms but may also be used to enhance a more formal setting. Quattro and Nik are woven in Belguim with the finest of yarns and the the best quality dyestuffs, to ensure colourfastness that reaches the highest Australian Standard (AS 2001.4.21, Category 3) for curtains. The fabrics are perfect for curtains and blinds, and also suitable for bedspreads, cushions, austrians, roman blinds and light domestic upholstery.
